The most recent SHORTFUSE @ BAFTA was held in the prestigious Princess Anne Theatre at BAFTA’s Piccadilly HQ on Friday 30th July 2010. Well over 200 industry professionals attended from the world of film, TV and theatre, and with just 5 minutes to go before the event started, the queue was still stretching out onto Piccadilly itself!
The 6 short films featured in the showcase (see screen shots on the left) each attracted tumultuous applause, whoops and whistles from the appreciative audience.
In the members’ bar afterwards, the BAFTA Head Steward said he had never seen it so busy, as many of those in attendance took the opportunity to meet up with old friends and make new contacts after the screening itself.
SHORTFUSE@BAFTA is a one-hour screening of new short films, featuring actors represented by
